RE: SMTP Server Disconnected 0 Messages Received ~Rebecca Lopjumibergnivu 2.Jun.03 02:45 AM a Web browser Domino Server 6.0.1Windows 2000
There have been a number of posts about this previously, but I have been experiencing this problem as well and have found little help.
I have tried a number of things, so let me summarise them and maybe they can help you.
I am running a ND601CF1 Server on the end of an SDSL connection.
It was suggested that a firewall could cause a problem, so I connected the server directly to the DSL modem (in bridged mode) and it did not help.
It was suggested that Scanmail could cause the problem, so I upgraded it with no luck. So I uninstalled it, also no change.
The last thing I have been trying, is working with MTU sizes on the server. I would not think that fragmented packets would cause the problem, but it seems to have helped. I have been reducing the MTU setting using the tool from www.dslreports.com (Dr TCP). I now have it set at 500 and am waiting to see if it occurs again.
